I’m gutted by what I’m seeing coming out of Asheville/Black Mountain and the surrounding areas in NC post Helene.

Black Mountain Yarn Shop is one of the best little yarn shops around and is located in the heart of Black Mountain NC, one of the hardest hit areas. Danni, who owns the shop, is a dear friend. My heart just hurts for her, her family and her employees.
It’s unknown at this time how the shop has faired. So your donations will help with potential rebuilding, recouping lost sales, employees salaries, and the list goes on and on. It could be awhile before the shop will be able to function as it always has.

Old Fort is just totally Danni! She shares my love for these tones of greens/browns. It’s a brand new colorway just for her. It’s a full on scummy green. By purchasing a skein of yarn I will then donate $14, which is half of each skein, to Black Mountain Yarn Shop in Black Mountain, NC

80% superwash merino 20% nylon 400yds/100g 2ply fingering weight

100% nonsuperwash fine organic merino, 437yds/100g 2ply fingering weight

90% superwash merino 10% linen 400yds/100g single ply linen

100% superwash merino, 246yds/100g DK weight

100% nonsuperwash organic merino, 231yds/100g DK weight

These are dyed to order, please allow up to 8-10 weeks depending on the how many orders I get!

**Hand dyed yarn can very from skein to skein. Colors are shown to the best of my ability. All computer screens show colors differently.
