Colors: a deep toned cobalt blue with lots of blue variegation and swaths of black.
This is a brand new base! It’s 100% superwash BFL fingering weight yarn (Blue Faced Leicester sheep breed) with a various generous 150g/657yds per skein. You can actually make an entire shawl with 1 skein or even a sweater with just 2! This base is a smooth 4ply similar to what you are used to with the 75% sw merino 25% nylon fingering base, but BFL is harder wearing, pills less and softens up nicely as you wash it. Please note that this is not a rough, crunchy or natural wool feeling base. It’s a really awesome yarn if you are looking for something a little different!
**Hand dyed yarn can very from skein to skein. Colors are shown to the best of my ability. All computer screens show colors differently.
Care: I always recommend hand washing gently in cool/warm water and lay flat to dry, even superwash!
Allergies: Yarn is dyed in an environment where cats and a dog roam. I do my best to keep yarn away from them, but I can’t guarantee the skeins to be totally free of allergens. Just know this when ordering!
