Your satisfaction is really important to me. So, yes, you can return or exchange most items with a few important caveats:

  1. The return or exchange must be initiated within 60 days of purchase.
  2. If there is a major defect or problem, I’ll replace the item once I’ve received the damaged item.
  3. Variances in color, pattern, tone, or look are not considered defects. Each skein is hand-dyed so there’s going to be variation.
  4. Items that are returned in a not sell-able condition will not be refunded or exchanged.
Please contact me as soon as you can to start the return or exchange process.

Every single skein that is for sale in the shop has been dyed and processed by one person: me. There are no resold or outsourced skeins in this shop!

Additionally, I believe that a premium priced product deserves premium quality. I work hard to to make sure all of the materials used are high quality and responsibly sourced. All of the colorways go through the dye-process multiple times which is what produces the unique tones, depth and variegation in my work.

If this is your first time buying hand-dyed yarn, you may be surprised that your skein doesn’t exactly match the colorway image.

With hand-dyed yarn — and especially with variegated colorways — there will always be variation in color placement, depth, and volume.

That’s why I do this by hand and not machine; we indie-dyers like things that are unique! If you just aren’t feeling the item, you can still return it, but you’ll have to cover the shipping back to me.

I only use your information to process your order. If you signed up for my every-once-in-awhile newsletter, your email address is only used for that newsletter. I never share your personal information with anyone else.

Per GDPR regulations, you may submit a written request for what information I currently have on file, request that it be updated, or request that it be deleted. Please contact me directly if you need this.

Payment transactions are processed through major transaction processors like PayPal and Stripe through encrypted connections. Your card or account information is not passed through/saved on our servers but rather sent directly to the processor to ensure maximum security.

I have limited availability for new wholesale accounts so you need to contact me very early as lead times may be longer than what you’d think. Please include the following information:

  • Your location
  • Which bases/colorways you’re interested in offering
  • An estimate on order size and date

I will send you my wholesaler information and we’ll go from there. Some of the things that go into the wholesaler decision are market location/potential, how base needs fit into my current production, and time availability.

One of my absolute favorite things about doing this is meeting new people and forming new relationships around all things yarn.

If you’re a pattern designer looking to do a kit, a collaboration or needing some yarn for a knit item featured in a publication, please contact me. I love being a part of making new and creative things.

Occasionally, I have need of test knitters, please message me if you’d like to be added to my list.
